After much consideration, and watching how both our dogs use their feet (one with dew-claws, one with-out), we have made the decision not to remove dewclaws.
Important Puppy Information We want your puppy to be in superb condition upon coming to live with you. Your puppy will be vet checked before his/her departure from us. We require that you take your puppy to your veterinarian for a well-puppy visit within 72 hours of receiving him/her. Our pups come with a general health guarantee and a 24-month genetic health guarantee. All veterinary expenses are the responsibility of the buyer. Although exposing your pup to as many people as possible before 12 weeks old is important for socializtion purposes...we ask that when you do take your puppy out and about in public, before he/she has completed the series of puppy shots (usually 14 to 16 weeks of age), that you carry them and keep them off of the ground. Young pups are at risk to the parvovirus as well as many other contagious illnesses. The parvovirus can stay dormant in the ground for up to 7 years! All it takes is a curious little puppy to dig around in contaminated dirt, dog feces and/or dog vomit to contract the potentially and commonly fatal virus. We recommend that you carry your puppy into the veterinarian’s office and hold him/her for the duration of your visits. The veterinarian offices are a common place for the parvovirus to enter due to the high volume of animals walking around inside. Also avoid dog parks & rest stops. Once your puppy has had its full series of shots it is perfectly safe to take that puppy out and show him/her off!
We Breed Med-Standard Size Labradoodles Your puppy will mature to be about 18-26" tall and weigh 30-70 lbs. I do not raise mini Labradoodles.. I believe it is important to breed similar sized parent dogs to reduce the incidence of malproportioned puppies. I will not breed two dogs that are more than 4" different in height. We raise happy, playful, content puppies that come to you ready to Love and Be Loved! It's up to you to continue to train your puppy so he can be the dog you want him to be! All of our puppies are handled daily from birth and given loads of love, cuddling and positive stimulation. When they are old enough, they go outside to play during the day, in our fenced in yard and run and play on an assortment of toys and climbing things. We also practice Early Neural Stimulation techniques on all of our puppies! This is an essential and very important ingredient in achieving a well balanced, socialized puppy. In addition to Early Neural Stimulation that helps your new puppy with socialization, your puppy will be introduced to a crate. Crate training is an important part of training a puppy and we do what we can to make this part of your life as easy as we can. We feed all of our dogs and puppies only the best dog foods. We also make home-made food for them & can provide information on feeding if you ask. There are many other foods that we could feed our dogs and puppies that would be much less expensive for us, but we feel that only the best food is what we want to feed our dogs and puppies, because we want to help give them the healthiest life possible.
If at any time you feel as though you can no longer care for your Doodle, we ask that you return the dog to Lucky Me Labradoodles, so that we can place him/her in a home we feel comfortable with. We never want any of our Doodles to end up in an animal shelter. We ask that you make this commitment to us.
